William Rawlins Obituary

William EvanRawlins "A Quick Wit"  William Evan Rawlins, 69, passed away at his home in Midvale April 18, 2003. He was born Sept 15, 1933 in Salt Lake City, UT to Joseph Evan and Ellen Sybrowsky Rawlins. William married Barbara Belanger in Honolulu, HI April 8, 1961. He was a member of American Legion Post # 112 and was a Sergeant in the U.S. Army. He loved boating and staying at his cabin in the mountains. For many years, William worked as comptroller in Hawaii for a radio and television station. Survivors: wife, Barbara; children, Mark Rawlins (Kimberly), Linda Davis (Tom); grandchildren, Trevor, Heather, Ashley, Lindsey, Allison; sister, Joann Thomas (Dick); and brother, Leon Rawlins (Lani). Preceded in death by his parents. Cryptside services for immediate family will be Mon. April 21, 2003, 11 a.m. Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 S. 1950 E. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to your favorite charity.

I hope Bill didn't suffer too much before he passed on.He suffered enough for years. May this be a blessing to him and all of you as he is no longer in pain.He leaves knowing you loved him and did all you could do to help him.I know you were a wonderful wife to him.

Although we are not neighbors any longer we will always be friends.

I miss looking across the street and not seeing you guys.
