Nicolas Diaz (Nico) got called to Heaven on Monday, October 31, 2016 due to a tragic car accident. He was born on November 28, 1998 in Santiago, Chile. He came to the United States with his mom and little sister on May 2, 2002. He was a loving young man who brought joy to everyone around him. He loves being with his friends and was very responsible. He worked at Tommy Hilfiger at the Barstow outlets where he also made great friends. Nicolas was a 2016 graduate of Barstow High School, and 2016 Prom King. He was only a few weeks short of his 18th Birthday. Nicolas is survived by his mom Stephanie Medina; sisters Josefa Diaz and Sophia Martinez (Barstow, CA); grandparents George and Liz Branson (Henderson, NV), and many uncles and aunts. The family would like to invite all his family and friends to his Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 11am at Hinkley Bible Church, 37313 Hinkley Rd., Hinkley, CA 92347. Potluck and refreshments to follow after the service.

Nick had a special place in my heart. He was a "fun" student who exhibited spirit and a commitment to a bright future. He took pride in Dressing for Success; right down to the tie tack and coordinated socks.
He made the world a little classier with his presence.
May his family find peace in knowing he is now on another great adventure.

Siento mucho su pérdida. El perder a un ser querido en la muerte no es fácil, mucho menos cuando sucede de manera tan insperada. Yo sé que nada puede consolarlos en este momento.
Pero recuerden que Dios desea hacerlo. Isa 63:13 dice13: "Como un hombre a quien su propia madre sigue consolando, así yo mismo seguiré consolándolos a ustedes"
Dios promete ayudarnos a soportar el dolor de perder a un ser querido. No sólo eso sino que Dios odia la muerte y la ve como un enemigo. 1 Corintios 15:26 dice: 26"Como el último enemigo, la muerte ha de ser reducida a nada."
Siente un profundo anhelo por eliminar a este enemigo y lo hará mediante la resurrección. Desea que vivan de nuevo en la Tierra quienes están en su memoria.
