WILLIAM CURRIER Obituary
June 20, 1960 - September 15, 2015
Billy Currier passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning. Billy grew up in Barstow and graduated from Barstow High School in 1979. He loved off road racing, road racing, circle track racing, and of course, burning a tank of gas in the desert of Barstow.
Billy also loved the outdoors; camping, boating, fishing, mountain bike riding, snow skiing, and most of all, golfing. Billy was never alone; he was always surrounded by family and friends. Billy will always be loved and never forgotten. Billy is survived by the "love of his life", his wife, Muffy Currier (O'Connor) and special son, Coy (Aztec, NM); mother, Janet Currier (Barstow, CA); beloved brothers, Mike and Julie Currier (Newberry Springs, CA), John and Amber Currier (Aztec, NM); Uncle Mike and DeeDee Chadburn (Flagstaff, AZ); Uncle Doug and Teena Lowe (Marysville, CA); and many more cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. Bill is preceded in death by his father, George Currier (Barstow, CA), and grandparents, Bob and Mary Lowe (Barstow, CA). Memorial services will be held Friday, September 25, 2015 at 10:00am at the First Baptist Church in Barstow, CA. There will be a reception immediately following. After the reception there will be a Celebration of Billy's life at the home of Mike and Julie Currier, 34825 Minneola Rd., Newberry Springs, CA. All are welcome!

I am so sorry for the passing of Billy so many memories with the Currier family when they lived across the street on Maxine.. I last saw Billy in Las Vegas about 12 years ago we talked about the good old day's on Maxine. my heart goes out to all of you. God Bless
