Barbara Freeman Obituary
Des Moines
Barbara Ann Freeman, 70, daughter of Pauline and Booker T. Jones, Sr. was born on May 24, 1942 in Des Moines, Iowa. She passed away on June 30, 2012 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. at Morningstar Baptist Church (3200 Lincoln Ave.) on Saturday, July 7, with burial to follow at Glendale Cemetery. A visitation at the funeral home will be held from 9-5 p.m. on Friday, July 6 with the family present from 3-5 p.m.
Left to cherish Barbara's memory is her loving husband, Amos; children, Teresa, Tori, Marion and Raymond; sister, Cecil Lavern Burrell as well as a host of numerous other relatives and friends.

My condolence to the Freeman family: Our Heavenly Father has heard your outcries of pain and sorrow over the death of your dear loved one. He too has suffered the death of his dear loved one. Therefore, He has promised to end death and all things that cause pain, suffering and mourning. He has furnished us a guarantee through his son, Christ Jesus, that our dear departed ones will hear his voice and arise to a life of joy, peace and happiness. Now though, with opened arms, He invites you to throw your burden, your pain upon him and allow him to sustain you. Was invited numerous times to spend the night with Tori, visit the family after school and was introduced to the "Corn Flake Christmas wreath" at this wonderful woman's house.
