Carmel Hicks Obituary
Des Moines - Mrs. Carmel Hicks, 84, passed away April 8, 2019.
A memorial service is planned for 12 noon tomorrow, April 16, 2019 at Kyles AME Zion Church.
Mrs. Hicks is survived by her children Elizabeth "Sissy" Stewart, Augustine "Tina" Dashiell and Dobby Hicks. She was preceded in death by her son, Ira Hicks, Jr and husband, Ira Hicks, Sr.

I'm going to miss our talks most of all. Thank you for loving me like your own daughter, actually they thought I was instead of your neice and I was always so happy to say that's ok, she's my aunt, her sister is my mom. Loved you dearly til the end.
