Carol Guyer Obituary
Carol worked for the United States Postal Service for many years. She enjoyed doing gardening, she called it her therapy. Above all, she loved her family and spending time with them.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her daughters, Shelli Guyer, Shannon (Gary) Rose, and Jennifer Guyer; grandchildren, Tyler Brewer, Tara (Charles Robinson) Jones, Tasha (Jake Garnett) Jones, Jordan (Shiana) Jones, Amanda Signs, Mia Windsor, Carolyn Rose and Brandon Guyer; great-grandchildren, Jalissa, Jeramiah, Jailey, Tessa, Trinity, Journey, Jordan II, Asher, and James and Ryder on the way; brother, Ronald Vaughn; niece, Sonya Vaughn; and a host of extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jimmy Guyer; brother, Jerry Vaughn; and niece, Michelle Vaughn.
Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at Hamilton's Funeral Home, 605 Lyon Street, Des Moines. Funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 28, 2018 also at the funeral home followed by burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family in memory of Carol.

To all of Carol's family, my heart is with you. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of her friendship. I was one who had that pleasure for nearly 60 years. She is in Gods hands now and all is at ease with her. Take solace in the fact that she is once again happy and healthy.
