CHARLES THOMAS ANDREANO II
Des Moines
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 24, at 10 a.m., at St. Anthony Catholic Church for Charles Andreano II, who entered into eternal life February 20, 2009 at his home. Visitation will be Monday, February 23, from 6 to 8 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. Vigil Service at Brooks Funeral Care Tonini Chapel.
Charles was born December 23, 1947 to Charles and Mary (DeFino) Andreano in Des Moines.
He retired as a conductor for the Northwestern Railroad in 1989.
He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was the recipient of three purple hearts.
Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting and reading. He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Am Vets and Purple Heart Club.
He will be missed by his wife of 20 years Janet; his children, Charles Thomas Andreano III and Christy (Justin) Goode; four grandchildren; and sister, Mary Jo Issacson.
Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
