Constance Hald Obituary
Urbandale
Constance "Connie" J Hald, 94, passed away at the Urbandale Health Care Center on March 3, 2015. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30am, Saturday, March 7, 2015 at The First Church of the Nazarene, 4703 Douglas Ave in Des Moines, Iowa with a visitation beginning 9am.
Constance Akers was born on December 21, 1920 in Ogden, Iowa and she married Gerald Hald on November 8, 1944 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Constance was a homemaker and valued partner in Gerald's many pastorates across Iowa in the Church of the Nazarene. She was always willing to do what was needed to show people the way to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Constance is survived by her husband, Gerald Hald; children, Barry (Monica) Hald, Ronnie (Bonnie) Hald, and Faith (Brian) Donoho; grandchildren, Sarah (Matt) Hamed, Ryan Hald , Andrew Donoho; Step grandchildren, Heather (Zack) Barber, Tom Donoho; and great-grandchildren, Arianna Hamed, Logan Hamed
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen, a non-profit organization that is the world's largest private funder of breast cancer research.
