Ankeny
Dale Ryan Saffeels, 37 of Ankeny passed away April 22nd. He is survived by his wife Brandi, daughters Nichole, Halley & Devon. His parents Dale & Julie, brother Daniel (Lisa), sister Kassidy along with brother Rodney (Candace) Nelson. He has 4 nieces and 2 nephews that he loved very much. Services will be held Saturday May 7th @ Community of Christ church on Penn Ave in Des Moines at 12:00pm.

Dale Ryan you are a Grampa now. You would love this lil girl SO much. Halley is married to a great guy. I wish you were here son. We miss you so damn much. Here it is 9 years later and some days it feels like yesterday. I love you my big ole Teddy Bear... Love Momma...

Dale my heart still hurts for you. I miss your voice. I miss your goofyness. I even miss arguing with you. I love you my first born. Life has changed so much since you left us. Keep watch over you babies. They're ALL miss you so much and life has not been so great for them.

Hey dad, I don't really know what to write. I miss you so much. It's almost been 3 1/2 years since you left us. It hurts thinking about you. I'm upset that you left before I could make you proud. I know I'm not the best person ever and it hurts knowing you won't be there waiting at home for me after school to ask how my dad was or to just hang out. I'm in Highschool now, I know, crazy right? It's hard without you but I think I'll get to where it's tolerable. I miss you so much, dad. I just hope you're proud of me.

It's almost been 2 1/2 years. In 9 days ill be 14. I don't know if you would be proud of me but I came out to every one about a year ago. I really miss you dad I wish you were still here with me... us. We all miss you daddy.

I Love you Dale. You taught me many things. Even night we spent wrenching away or leaning on a truck box (or dumpster) I cherish. Every mile we rode was for us. You are heavens prospect now and all that loved you will someday follow. I miss you Brother! RIDE FREE!

So many memories of Dale as a young man growing up in Albia, at church, in our back yard playing with our girls. Such a good kid. He loved to torment them. And his laugh was contagious . In my eyes Big Dale and Julie raised great kids.
