David Dale Geisler, 51, passed away on January 15, 2013. Visitation will be Friday, January 18, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Iles Funeral Homes - Grandview Park Chapel. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 19, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial following in New Virginia, Iowa.

Dave was born August 17, 1961 in Des Moines, Iowa to Ken and Shirley Geisler. Dave was raised in Des Moines, attended East High School and was a very skilled and talented painter for over 30 years. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, hunting and four wheeling with his four beautiful grandsons.

He is survived by his father, Ken; his wife, Toni; his son, Jesse (Amy) Geisler; his daughter, Heather (Joel) Quam; four grandsons, Phillip and Jackson Geisler and Keegan and Ethan Quam; two brothers, Mike Geisler and Donnie (Linda) Geisler; sister, Linda (Glen) Larson; aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Geisler and his grandparents, Earl and Bernice Stubbs.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the family for a memorial for Dave's grandsons.
