Donna Elizabeth Goering, 60, of Mesa, Arizona, passed away on February 8, 2013, at Hospice of the Valley-Friendship Village, in Tempe, Arizona.
Donna was born on February 11, 1952, in Boone, Iowa, to William D. (Bill) and Beulah (Holland) Brown. She lived in Arizona for the past 12 years.
Donna is survived by her husband of 20 years, Jon Goering of Mesa, Arizona, and three children and their spouses: David Poling (Lisa) of Des Moines, Iowa; Stephen Poling (Jennifer) of Chariton, Iowa; Mindy Jansen (Brandon) of Des Moines, Iowa; 15 grandchildren; and 1 great grandson.
Other survivors include her sister, Janet Brown and husband Bill Whipple of Easton, Pennsylvania; her brother Charles Brown and wife Jolene of Boone, Iowa; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by her father-in-law Franklin (Dee) Goering and mother-in-law Alice Goering of Leon, Iowa. Her parents preceded Donna in death.
A memorial service will be held at the Lacona Community Center in Lacona, IA at 2PM, February 24, 2013
