Douglas Evans Obituary
Round Rock, TX - Doug passed away on May 9th at home surrounded by his family. He was born August 11th 1953 in Des Moines, IA to O.D. and Jayne Evans
Doug Graduated from Valley High School in 1971. He worked for Infomax, Toshiba, and the IRS before retiring in 2014. He loved to make people laugh and his smile will never be forgotten. Doug enjoyed his days out on the boat, tinkering around the house and of course his beer.
Doug is survived by his wife Pam (Norton) Evans; children Stephanie Evans and Jason Evans; grandchildren Patience, Ryder Drake and Olivia; sister Candy Evans, sister in-law Kathy Evans. He was preceded in death by his father O.D, mother Jayne, brother Michael, brother Rick and the mother of his children Beverly Evans.
His ashes will be spread by family and friends at Lake Travis,TX and Saylorville Lake, IA at a later date.

I worked with Dougie at IRS for about 2 years. Doug was a very laid back kind of guy, he was a good tech but was always ready for his smoke break, ha, ha......
I retired in 2011 and Doug stayed working for IRS. Doug was also a very generous person, he would bring us donuts to work pretty frequently.
He will be missed, RIP Dougie !!!!!

To the family of Doug Evans,
Doug was one of my buddies in grade school, junior high and high school. The Green brothers, Doug and myself always found something to do to have fun in West Des Moines, Iowa. He really new how to make me smile and laugh. He could always come up with great thiing to do as buddies. I send my deepest condolences to the Evan Family. He truely will be missed and really sorry to hear of his passing.

I am very sad to hear of Doug's passing. I've known him ever since we were in Boy Scouts together. He was a wonderful person, and I know he will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. My sincere condolences to Doug's wife and children and grandchildren.
