Galyn Aubrey Devine, (Gale) Phoenix, AZ formerly of Des Moines. Galyn 70, died August 4, 2011 and was cremated.
He was born in Des Moines on July 17, 1941 and graduated from Des Moines Tech joined Iowa Air National Guard retired 1988 and moved to Phoenix. He continued his love of airplanes until his death.
Galyn is survived by his wife Connie. His son Scott (Stevi) a grandson Matthew of Southern CA., mother Mary Collup Devine, proceeded in death by his father Galyn Sr., two sisters, Janet (Greg) Boggs of Des Moines, Judy (Roger) Winter of St. Louis, and many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, his two dogs Maggie and Duchess.
Gale spent his life giving and serving others, he will be missed, but his kindness shall live on within all whom he touched.

I used to live next door to the Devines. I remember Galyn well.He was a very nice man. His son Scott and I were friends when we were kids. My condolences to Scott and the Devine family.
