Jennifer -- Thank you for notifying me that Gary has passed away. He and I were friends in Harlan and we always counted him as a member of the HHS Class of 1960 even though he left Harlan before high school.

There were times when Gary would drive up to Irwin and talk with my mom and dad. My dad had a special place in his heart for Gary. Dad and Gary would talk and talk and I remember how much joy that brought my dad. At the time I was a younger child (only 6 years younger though) and I loved listening to Gary's interesting stories and his conversations with our family. I am so sorry to the whole family for their great loss. May God comfort you....
