GEORGE L. KING

George L. King, 87, died Wednesday at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Winterset. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery at Madison County.
George had been a teacher for ten years and a minister for 30 years before his retirement in 1989.
George is survived by his wife, Genive King of Prole; nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 7 p.m., at McCalley-Collins Funeral Home in Winterset with family receiving friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Memorials given to the family will be directed to Winterset Seventh Day Adventist Church.
