Greg Paul Obituary
Des Moines
Greg Paul 51, died Monday July 15, 2013 after many years with congestive heart failure, at Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines. He was born on October 4, 1961 in Des Moines. Greg lived on the East side of Des Moines most of his life. He worked in many types of construction. Greg enjoyed fishing writing poetry, wood working and spending time with his family and friends.
To honor his memory, are his son Travis (Crystal) Paul, parents John and Marla Paul, sisters Billie Jo Fielder, Johnna Strege, Jackie Wood, and Juli Reeves; two granddaughters Makenna, and Tatianna, all of Des Moines many nieces, nephews, cousins, good friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his sister Donna, brothers-in-law Tim Taylor, Jim Wood, Jerry Fielder, and biological mother Barbara Roberts.
The Celebration of Greg's life will be held on Saturday July 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the farm of his niece Misty and her husband John Steingrabe located at 10762 South 76th Avenue West, Prairie City, IA. The Celebration will begin with Greg's life story told by Reverend Patrick Grant followed by a reception.
For those desiring, the family would be honored by memorials to Bright Kavanagh House. Arrangements by Johnson Funeral Service. 641-521-8521.

John and Marla I'm so so sorry for your loss , Greg was one of my dearest friends, I'm going to miss him very much , he always kept me smiling even when i didn't think there was anything to smile about ! He is definitely going to be missed here on earth but I'm happy that he is finally at peace and I'm sure him and Woody are up there looking down on all of us ! I love you all very much !
