Des Moines
James R. Barnett, 70, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, June 15th at Westover Baptist Church 2330 62nd Street in Des Moines.
Survivors include his wife Ann of 50 years, his mother, Barbara Barnett of Des Moines, sisters Jeanne Miller of Des Moines and Jane Kemmis of Texas, daughter Kristina Barnett of Des Moines, son Robert (Lisa) Barnett of Des Moines and grandson, Aaron Barnett and his fiance' Emily of Des Moines. He was preceded in death by his father, James A. Barnett.
At his wishes Cremation arrangements were handled by Des Moines Cremation, West Des Moines, IA. Intermit will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family and online condolences may be expressed at www.beremembered.com
