Funeral services for James LaFollette, age 75 of Harvey, will be held on Tuesday, September 21 at 1 p.m. at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors, will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.

James passed away on Friday, September 17 at his home. He owned and operated Jim's Tree Service prior to retirement. He is survived by his spouse and companion, Juanita Molle; his children: Kim LaFollette of Promise City, Iowa, Kelli Lichty of Monroe and Eddie LaFollette of Knoxville; step-children: Les (Linda) Nichols of Des Moines, Brenda (John) Barber of Knoxville, Jim (Laura) Molle of Unionville, Iowa and Teresa (Chris) Conger of Seymour, Iowa; eight grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; ten step-great grandchildren; his siblings: Creta Watson of Newton, Evelyn Shivers of Knoxville, Marilyn LaFollette of Melcher-Dallas, Naomi South of Bakersfield, California and Betty Johnson of Griswold, Iowa.

Visitation will begin after 10 a.m. Monday at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. bertrandfuneralhomes.com.
