Dear Dad - I'm still processing your loss and all the emotions I'm experiencing. The one thing that comforts me now is I was able to spend plenty of time with you before you passed. I'm thankful for all that I learned from you - you appreciated life and it's little things. You taught me to do a little less complaining and take life for what it is. You taught me to work hard and not be lazy, clean the paint brushes after using them, turn out the lights, to not waste food and to have a sense of humor always. I could go on and on but for now, I want you to know how much I miss you. I'm not saying good-bye...I hope to see you again one day. You will be a part of my day, every day. Love You dude...until we meet again...

When I think of Jack I see him sitting on the back deck with his headphones on listening to Rush Limbaugh on the radio, holding a cigar, and his dachshund pups in his lap. He was a quiet, gentle man who loved all animals. My sympathy goes out to Linda and their family.

P.S. Thanks Jack for all your expert veterinary advice for my pups.
