John Spagnola May 26 1939- January 5, 2012. John is survived by a daughter Angie (John) Coleman, three grandsons, Steven, Josh, Aaron, three step- grandchildren, two sisters Betty Brown and Rachel Myers, nephew and niece. John is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Toni Kolacia, one sister and two brothers. Services are pending.

john is my dad. i would like to thank the family and friends that came to the luncheon. i will miss him and my sister. there will be a service for john when he is returned to us. i will post all details. at that time... love you toni and dad

I believe John and/or his brother sold me my first car in 1963, a 1955 Chevrolet when their car lot was on 6th & University. John had a great sense of humor and was good for a laugh.

John is my uncle. We spent a day with him when his daughter Toni died a few months ago. He got to send the day with his grandsons Jordan Michael Spagnolo & Steven & Josh. I always remember him driving a cadillac & drinking a Pepsi.

John was my next door neighbor for a few years back in the 70's. I drove cars to auto auctions for him. He was a great guy to work for. Always funny! He'd always have a Pepsi & Pall Mall Golds with him. We got stopped by Illinois State Trooper once when the trooper saw him tipping a can in the car. The trooper asked John how many of them he's had to drink. John told him "only about a six-pack! Then showed him the Pepsi cans. A funny moment!
