Joni Marie(Rohde) Snyder, Feb.28, 1963 to June 24, 2015. Joni was born in Carroll, IA and graduated from Wall Lake HS and IA Lakes Comm. College in Estherville, IA. Joni's lifelong devotion was helping others thoughout her 30 year career in the Healthcare & Human Services Industry. She was a dedicated and loving Mother to Alex and Jacob Snyder, both of the Des Moines metro area. Also surviving her, Stephanie Snyder, wife of Jacob, Ric(Brother) & Cindy Rohde, Lebanon, TN & Renee(Sister) & Mike Kidman, Polk City, IA. Joni was a good friend to many, a kind and selfless caregiver to her clients and her wonderful smile and warm sense of humor will be missed by all. A gathering of friends and family will be held, Sunday, June 28, Noon-3 PM at Big Creek State Park-Cadet Shelter. In lieu of flowers or gifts a memorial contribution can be made to Mercy Hospice, Johnston, IA who lovingly cared for Joni in her last days, or the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, as Joni was a lifelong lover of animals.
