I am hopeful you feel our hugs from Texas. (I am with Mom) Mom is so sad that she is not able to be with you. As for me Ken has always been a special guy in my life. I shall always remember when he said, "there's our girl" when we ate dinner with you before mom headed to Texas. Much Love !

My dad called me last night and was so sorry to hear of Ken's passing, as I am also. The Hayes' family was such a wonderful part of my life growing up in Iowa, and I really think Ken was one of the most special people I knew growing up. His innate goodness coupled with the irrepressible twinkle in his eye made him one of my favorite people ever. I am so sorry for your loss.
