Leonard Waters, 66, of Des Moines, passed away on March 31, 2009, at Bright Kavanagh House.
Leonard worked at the Independent School District for over 35 years.
Survivors include children Leonard Jr. (Carol) Waters, Brenda (Robert Jr.) Thompson, Dawn Drake; step-children Mark (Marjorie) Hilliard, Ramona Lillie; and 7 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife Sharon.
Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18 at Lee Town Assembly Church, 2720 State Street, Des Moines.
