Urbandale
Marilyn Watts, 76, of Urbandale, passed away on September 19, 2016, at Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines. She was born in Milo, Iowa on August 8, 1940, to Germain and Loretta Ohnemus.
Marilyn enjoyed crossword puzzles, walking, watching the news and political debates.
Marilyn is survived by her son, Mark (Carla) Watts; step grandchildren, Kyle (Kortney) Hendrix and James (Megan) Mobley; sister-in-law, MaryAnn Ohnemus. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Watts; and siblings, Bob Marvin, Carl, Edna and Ethel.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 30, 2016, at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 111 E. Belmont Street in Milo, with burial to follow at Belmont Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Thursday evening from 5 to 8p.m., at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association, in loving memory of Marilyn.

So sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing. I so enjoyed the years I worked with her. She was a special lady to be sure. I know you will miss her so much. Family was so important to her. Again my sympathy...Prayers during this difficult time.
