Patricia (Pat) Schloss Moon, 71 died August 3, 2012. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 9 at McLaren's Chapel with inurnment in Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation will be 9 to 10:30 on Thursday.
Patricia was born on September 6, 1940 in Olin, IA, the daughter of Paul and Leola (Theisen) Schloss. She graduated from high school and married Bill Moon in Galena Illinois. He died on October 25, 2009. Patricia was a member of Walnut Creek Community Church and had retired from Yellow Freight.
She is survived by two sisters, Teri Kruckenberg and Kathie (Keith) Page; step-sons, Bill and Jeff (Nancy) Moon; step-daughter, Gina Moon; granddaughter, Paula (Phil) Brattrud; grandson, Chris Moon and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert and Donald Schloss; husband, Bill and son, Chris.

Patty,You were like a sister to me.Beng your neighbor we shared lots of memories. When I ran away from home I would stay with your family,always able to look out to see that Mom was home.I'm so sorry we lost touch with each other.
