Urbandale
Roberta Draper, 88, died Sunday, December 7, 2014, at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 11, at Iles-Westover Chapel, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Roberta was born January 30, 1926, in Hartford, Iowa to Robert L. and Grace McIntyre. She lived in the greater-Des Moines area most of her life. Roberta graduated from North High School and married Delbert Draper in 1946. She worked at Iowa-Des Moines National Bank and most recently for Super Valu Stores, Inc, retiring in 1991. Roberta was a member of Westkirk Presbyterian Church and the American Business Women's Association.
Roberta is survived by her son, Steven Draper of Urbandale, her sisters Maxine (Richard) Andrews of Urbandale, and Carolyn (R. Michael) Andersen of Green Valley, AZ; and several nieces and nephews.
