RAMONA NADEL ROBINSON
Palm Springs, CA
Ramona Nadel Robinson, 90, of Palm Springs, CA and Des Moines, died in Palm Springs on August 6, 2010. Private family services are pending.
She was born in Sioux Falls, SD on November 18, 1919. She lived in Des Moines with her husband, Goodman S. "Goody" Robinson, who was Robinson Wholesale Company, and their two daughters. Her later years were spent in Palm Springs.
She has been immortalized by her dear friend, Clifford Orent of Palm Springs who hybridized the "Mrs. Robinson" rose and named it in her honor.
Surviving are two daughters, Gayle Leone Robinson of Reno, NV and Elaine Robinson of Des Moines, and three well-loved grand- dogs, Tashi, Maggie and Barney. She was preceded in death by her husband, Goodman S. "Goody" Robinson and two brothers, Herbert G. Nadel of Atlanta, GA and Floyd M. Nadel of Clive.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Temple B'nai Jeshurn, the Iowa Jewish Senior Life Center or the Animal Lifeline.
