Ted Jenkins Obituary
Granger
Ted Jenkins, 60, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at home. Memorial services will be held 3p.m. Saturday, March 28, at Emmanuel United Methodist Church in Granger, where the family will receive friends from 12 - 3 p.m.
Ted was born December 24, 1954, in Elmhurst, IL. He moved to the Granger area when he was five, graduated from Woodward-Granger High School in 1973 and raised his family in Granger. Ted worked for the Dallas County Secondary Roads Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting pool and spending time with friends, but his passion was living life to the fullest with his children, grandchildren and family.
Ted is survived by his children, Ted Jenkins of Madrid, Amanda (Mike) Field of Mound, MN, and Tyler (Crystal) Jenkins of Fort Wainwright, AK; grandchildren, Sarah and Cassidy Jenkins, Alexa, Riley, Josie & Tucker Jenkins, and Beckett Field; his Mother, Norma Lee Jenkins and his sister Shelly Nevins, both of Perry. He was preceded in death by Father, Jerome R. Jenkins and his brother, Timothy Jenkins.

Ted definitely had a talent for pool he always challenged me when he saw me. I thought I could beat him because his eyes were bad but I sadly underestimated him. He had the biggest heart of anyone I've ever known. He even let me win once in a while because he felt sorry for me. If you knew Ted there wasn't anything he wouldn't do for you. I will miss him dearly, he walk's among the great men I have known and not to many meet his standard.
