Saw this pop up on my Facebook page today. Bittersweet. Crying and laughing in my office thinking about the good old days dad. Nicklow's, hunting and fishing in Ely, working with my dad everyday for 12 years, all of the weekends on Mille Lacs and at Trotterville in the old trailer (If it ain't a Dutch, it ain't much), endless hour playing cribbage, our Sundays having lunch and during the season, watching the Vikings, growing up with a loving dad teaching me baseball, how to cast a fishing line, tie a shirt tie, etc. I am filled with sadness you aren't here, but with the joy of a lifetime of memories. Thinking of you today pops and missing you so much. Love you.

Missing you soooo much dad. Sunday was OUR day. You should have been here today. Vikes won. You would have complained the whole time! lol. I know you were cheering from Heaven, I wanted you cheering next to me. Your car is in my driveway everyday. WEIRD! Your townhouse is waiting for us to sell it. I think about you all of the time still. Some nights I can't sleep. I go to bed with dreams of you and when we fished, when I was a kid and when you got sick. I cry alone. I just miss you. Remember Basswood? Canada? Ely? Everyday working together and then heading to Nicklows? This pick was when we spent our last night at Nicklows. One of the last nights we went out together as father and son. I love you so much pops. Just feeling melancholy tonight. Tammy doesn't seem to understand my anguish and mourning over your dying. I am so glad you got to meet Tammy before you left. Remember her backrubs at the home? You were in heaven! 'Why does she rub your back when she won't rub mine'? "because she loves me". I will always remember that dad. Your chair is next to me dad. I miss you being in it every Sunday since you passed. You were always the most loving father to me. I always went to bed knowing I was loved and protected. You always hugged me and kissed me until the day you died. I just wanted you to know this. I didn't always say this while we were together (I hope you felt it and knew how much I loved you). Miss you dad. RIP. I will never forget you and your love.

Davey Boy and family. We are so saddened to hear of Bills passing. Our prayers are with you all in this time of loss. That character will be greatly missed by all that knew him. I'm sure he's now having a blast with Dale and Ted. Take care and know he is in a better place.
