Wonevia Penney Obituary
Wonevia was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister with a bubbly personality and a keen sense of humor.
Wonevia is survived by her children, Shawn (Raleigh) Thomas, Steve Stone, Rick Penney-Tulk, Roy (Heidi) Penney and Eric (Nhot) Penney; fifteen grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren; her siblings, Teddy, David, Carolyn, Clifford, Kathryn, Ed and Howard. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2010 at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave., Des Moines, with burial to follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. Family will visit with friends two hours prior to service time at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in loving memory of Wonevia.
