Albin Omilian Obituary
Dearborn Heights - Albin Omilian of Dearborn Heights passed away on August 22, 2018 at the age of 98. Albin began working for Ford Motor Company in 1939 and retired from the Livonia Transmission Plant. He is an Army veteran of World War II (820th Tank Destroyer Battalion), who was a POW in Germany for two years. Albin is survived by his daughter, Linda (Ron) Omilian-Kondakor, and step-children, Betty Wellman and Larry (JoAnn) Wellman. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. The family suggests memorial contributions be sent to the Wounded Warrior Project. Memorial service on Wed, Sept 12, at 11AM at the Dearborn Chapel of Howe-Peterson Funeral Home, 22546 Michigan Ave. Burial of cremated remains will take place prior to the service on Tues, at 12:30PM at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI (4200 Belford Rd).
