The Lord and I
Written By: Donald Potter
Date Written Sept 1964
Are you the kind of person
Who is lonesome in some way
If you are here's some advice
Why don't you go and pray
There is always someone listening
No matter where you are
Please believe me when I say
That person isn't far
The person I am referring to
Is the Lord on high
And He is always there
To hear your humble cry
For everyone's his children
He loves them all alike
And He will always help you
In conquering the fight
It 's quite a short journey
To speak to God you know
Just kneel down and say a prayer
And He will bless your soul

I send my condolences to you all. I would like to know if Doreen and your family ever lived in Verdun on Cool St or near Church Avenue or Lasage St. Would you kindly let me know?
