Don was one Of the nicest guys you could know. We will miss his smile and positive attitude. I was in his new hire class at Northwest and he was my partner in DC9 school. He will be sorely missed.

I was in Don’s new hire class at Northwest in 1989. Words can’t express how this news saddens me. Don was one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. He helped me get through DC9 school and was always there to help. A down to Earth fellow with devilishly good looks. His great to see you attitude, and warm smile will forever be sorely missed. Good bye my friend.

I have known Don for almost 30 years. He has been my family, my friend and my mentor.
It has been said that a true gentleman never tries to be superior to others, only superior to his former self. I believe that quote is an excellent summary of Don's character.
He was always there to help me, never judicial or critical of my mistakes and yet, always critical of his own performance.
In a world of soft people, Don was a rock! NOBODY knew his profession better than Don. You could NEVER stump Don.
I will always look up to Don and hold him in the highest regards. You were my role model growing up and I strive to be a fraction of the person you have proven to be.
Rest in peace my friend.

Don was a regular on our Cancun turns. Always had a large ice tea to start his day and his highlighter too to point out important flight information .
Excellent pilot and great to work with. He will be deeply missed. Gods speed Don. My prayers are with his family who he spoke so highly of.

Don was an incredible human being. He brought joy, love & laughter to all that he encountered. I pray that he is at peace and that his children Spencer & Sam, his mother Sandy, his sister Cindy & his best friend Django find comfort in knowing he was respected and loved by all. I will miss him every day. Sending you sincere love and support during this difficult time.

Don always had a smile on his face, was kind & personable. Such a loss of a wonderful person at way too young of an age. My heart breaks for Spencer & Samantha; may family, friends, pictures & beautiful memories help carry them through their pain.
