Ernest Seebaldt Obituary
Highland Twp. - Passed away in the loving care of his family after challenges with atrial fibrillation. He was 81 years old.
Mr. Seebaldt dedicated his 32-year career to the Detroit Public Schools at Western High School teaching physics, physical science and photography. Ernie was a lifetime member of the George F. Monaghan Council #2690 of Knights of Columbus and a longtime usher at St. John Catholic Church of Howell.
In addition to Barbara (LaBerge), his beloved wife of nearly 53 years, Ernie is survived by their daughter, Anne; sisters, Mary (James) Keating and Peggy Seebaldt; sister-in-law, Pat Seebaldt as well as many cousins, extended family and dear friends. Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Lillian Seebaldt, and brothers, Edward "Eddie" Seebaldt and James "Jim" Seebaldt.
Visitation will be held at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford on Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 3—8 p.m. Rosary 7 p.m. Mass of the Resurrection will be held from St. John Catholic Church, 2099 N. Hacker Rd., Howell, on Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11 a.m. with gathering the hour prior to begin at 10 a.m. The Rev. Fr. Francis George to officiate. Burial St. John Cemetery.
