GREGORY SOLAK

SOLAK GREGORY Passed away peacefully in his sleep at the age of 62, the evening of July 15th, 2015, at his residence in Buffalo, New York after a battle with cancer. He was born on August 6th, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan by Helena and Wladyslaw Solak. He was one of three brothers; Walter (Andrea) and Robert (Margaret), survived by Robert. Greg was married close to 37 years to his beloved wife Jill Solak. Loving father to Aja (Anthony), Lauren (Angel) and Shane. Doting grandfather to Scarlett, Emerson and Avery. Gregory earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a MBA from Central Michigan University. Most recently Gregory was employed as Vice President of Laboratory Services for Kaleida Health, in Buffalo New York. Awarded as one of 2013's Top 50 exceptional healthcare professionals in Western New York for his compassion, innovation, strategy, research and care by Business First. Greg was known for his sense of humor, love for music and the arts, and unconditional love for family.
