Beloved mother of Diane (John) Kecskes of Plymouth, Susan (Tom) Matlas of Northville, Michele (Michael) Beres of Lapeer, Michael (Janet) Abruzzo of Forest Park, California, David (Kelly) Abruzzo of Eaton, Ohio, Pamela (Matthew) Schomer of Clarkston, Anthony (Jane) Abruzzo of Lapeer and Christopher (Kristie) Abruzzo of Kalamazoo. Dear grandmother to 21 and great-grandmother to 13. Helen is also survived by her brother, James (Blanche) Hodde of Birmingham. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Anthony M. Abruzzo, her sister and brother-in-law, Florence and Stanley Patton and her parents, Peter and Antoinette (Newell) Hodde. Helen was a registered nurse and loving homemaker. Funeral Service to be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 23, at Immaculate Conception Church, 814 W. Nepessing Street, Lapeer, MI 48446 with Father John Ortman officiating.
