Joan Stevens Obituary
Williamsburg, VA - Joan Stevens, age 91, of Williamsburg, VA passed away on October 7th, 2020. Joan was born October 28, 1928 in Windsor, Ontario to Bill and Hilda O'Flanagan and later married Tom Stevens on August 1, 1953. Joan was a Librarian by profession, passionate about the arts, an avid crafts woman, a long time Chautauquan, and a mother of two children, Martha and Bill. Joan was an avid traveler, and with Tom, they lived active lives in West Bloomfield, MI, Brecksville, OH, Chautauqua, NY, and Sun City, AZ. Joan was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be remembered deeply by those who were in her life.
Joan is survived by her son, Bill, his wife Charlotte and two grandchildren, Matt Stevens, and Carrie Stevens. She was proceeded in death by her husband Tom and daughter Martha. A grave side ceremony will take place in the Spring in Michigan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Alzheimer's Association.
