Fareweil, old friend and fellow Catholic Central classmate, class of 1949.

Thank you for giving our daughter Sarah her first communion at St. Rene in Sterling Heights.

We got to know one another at class reunions; you con-celebrated Mass with Fr. John Nowlan at our fiftieth where you gave a superb homily.
Ave atque Vale, Joe.

Deepest sympathies on the loss of a Capuchin priest in Detroit Fr. Joseph Maloney OFM. His years of serving Detroit and their people can never be actually counted up The Capuchins are known for their soup kitchen, and the streets of Detroit. Helping those cold, desolate and even away from family and home. He worked behind and after the Blessed Fr. Solanus.. Some of my family might have even had the pleasure and honor to have met Fr. Solanus or any Capuchin priest. Besides warm soup a warm bed in needed in a round Detroit, today. Other organizations started for helping the poor, with hats and mittens, coats but a bed and blankets are more needed than ever. Thank you to the Capuchin Soup Kitchen for helping those in need.
