PETER J. GALLO

Age 82. August 20, 2004. Mr. Gallo retired from Melody Farms and was a dedicated baseball coach in East Detroit for many years. Beloved husband of Ann (nee Serra) for 57 years. Loving father of Joann (Bob) Denby, Ginny (Kevin) Gore, Jerry (Karen), Chris (fiance Carolyn Cipkowski) and the late Paul and Peter Gallo. Proud grandpa of Kristy Denby (Chris Preston), Rob (fiance Julie Ball), Brian and Brendan Gore and Alex and Matt Gallo. Dearest son of the late Jennie and Paul. Dear brother of Vera (the late Angelo) Marino, Phil (Helen) and the late Antoinette (the late Paul) Savu. Survived by many dear nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday 1-9 p.m. with Rosary 4:30 p.m. at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons, Inc., 36900 Schoenherr at Metro Parkway (16 Mile). In state Monday, 9:30 a.m. at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church (Schoenherr Rd. between 21 and 22 Mile) until Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Served in U.S. Army in WWII.
