Gail Hardt Obituary
Gail grew up in Weesatche, attended Weesatche and Goliad schools, and was baptized and confirmed at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her many Yorktown and Davy friends, and will be especially missed by her close friend, Judy Mozisek. She always looked forward to playing bunco, bingo and dominoes, as well as her hobbies of painting yard art and angel collecting.
She is survived by her only son Michael (Sheryl) Hattenbach, grandsons Jacob Tharsher and Derek Alan Hattenbach, brothers Jesse (Linda) Hurta, Sam (Donna) Hurta, sisters JoLois Schuenemann, Susie (Doug) Wolfshohl and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Aubrey Gene Hattenbach, and Erwin Hardt, parents and grandchildren Maria Hattenbach and Keinn Hattenbach
Pallbearers will be Chester Buesing, Larry Buesing, Flavis Kozielski, Frankie Seifert, David Hurta and Jonathan Hurta. Honorary pallbearers are all the nieces and nephews.
Visitation 2-3 pm Wednesday, April 5, 2023 with Funeral service beginning at 3 pm at Massey Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Westside Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Yorktown EMS, Westside Cemetery or donor's choice.
