Graveside service: 2 p.m. Monday in Dresden Cemetery in Navarro County. Visitation: 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

She was the daughter of Leslie Allen and Annie Mae Wood. She was born and raised in Hillsboro. She was a member of Trinity Temple Church in Fort Worth. She was a retired nurse. On Feb. 17, 1961, she married James White and he preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death was a son, Harold White.
Survivors: Daughters, Debby Kelley and husband, Pat, and Julie Cryer and husband, Dave; grandchildren, Susan and Cory Castellon and Jonathan and Kennith Smith; six great-grandchildren; sister, Tommie Zahorick; brothers, Leslie and Harry Wood; and a sister in Christ, Jo Rust.

it's been a week and i miss you like crazy.i try to thank of you just gone to aunt tommies.i keep asking you how i can go on.you were my rock my best friend much more than a mother.i hope i can be half of what you were.i love and miss you dearly it feels like a dream and i can't wake up.

ninnie will truly be missed but her legacy carries on..she was many things to many people but luckily we got to have the honor of seeing how much of a blessing she truly was...ninnie i love you and thank u for everything we will carry on in a way that would make u proud.
