Andrew Spencer Obituary

Andy Spencer, 58, died October 26, 2025 from a malignant brain tumor. He was born September 12, 1967 near K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base in Michigan where his father, Sgt. James Arthur Spencer (deceased), was stationed. The family moved to Fort Worth when Andy was young. He graduated from Paschal High School and attended the University of Texas Arlington. He moved back in with his mother, Joanne (Hackler) Spencer (deceased), to care for her until her death from dementia in February 2016. His brain tumor was diagnosed in 2023 and required long stays at John Peter Smith (JPS) Hospital in Fort Worth. The JPS staff, friends, neighbors and volunteers kindly and generously cared for and supported Andy until his death.
