Austin Weeks Obituary
Service: 10 a.m. Thursday at Christ Church Assembly of God, 5301 Altamesa Blvd., Fort Worth.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Augustine L. Weeks at Frost Bank.
Austin was born July 17, 1970, in Fort Worth to Randall A. Weeks and Gail A. Weeks. Austin graduated from Southwest High School. He was loved by all who knew him. His smile and personality endeared him to many. Austin was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Doyle Weeks and Henry Kruse; and grandmother, Cloie Weeks.
Survivors: Daughter, Augustine L. Weeks; parents, Randall Weeks and Gail A. Weeks; brother, Keith S. Weeks and wife, Jonnye; nephew, Justin; niece, Courtney; and extended family members in Fort Worth and Hawaii.

Austin, I just found out tonight when Randall called. I am shocked and sad. I will miss the times we had. Jordan will miss his great Uncle Austin but we know you are in heaven with our angel Lindsey, your neice you never got to know. Hold her for me and tell her mommy misses her. We will all be together again one day. I truly loved you and will miss you greatly. At least you will have peace now!

Gail, I've been missing you and our silly talks at work. I was leaving work the other day when I asked about you. Gail, I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I've been reading the entires people have written about your son and it appears he has touched so many lives and left many great memories for a lot of people to treasure. As I sit here reading these messages in his guest book. I feel so many mixed emotions. I'm so glad Austin you brightened so many people's lives. You truely were loved. And then I feel a saddness that you can't be with us anymore to brighten more lives. I am so saddened by the loss of such a wonderful human being. Austin and I became friends in elementary school, and although I hadn't seen him for a few years, I will always consider him a friend. One of my favorite memories of Austin is of him singing Billy Joel's "You May Be Right (I May Be Crazy)" to me in Mrs. Fisher's 4th grade classroom. Austin had so much personality and I know that his light will shine as brightly in Heaven as it did on Earth. I will keep Austin's family and friends in my thoughts and prayers as we all struggle with this difficult loss.

We could talk about anything,expressing our deepest concerns,thoughts and feelings. Little Augie was the center of our greatest conversations. We loved Austin when he was at the Chop House. He was so happy to have little Aggie, he just glowed with happiness for her.We always thought we would see him again. We are so sorry for his family..its such a waste to lose him.

Austin was one of my first little boyfriends in middle school and probably my first kiss...hence his nickname, "lil' sugar"! He was such a joy to know with the heart the size of his beloved state. We will all always hold him close to our hearts with special memories of the love, acceptance and everpresent laughter that he brought to us all. Love you Lil' Sugar!

Austin...What can I say any better than every other person on here already has. You were a genuine good soul with a kind heart and warm smile. Austin was such a bright life and good friend to my husband - the stories Rick told always put a smile on my face to hear about their shenanigans. Austin will be missed very much, without a doubt. His journey here on Earth has come to an end but he is on the other side, waiting for the rest of us to show up to the party. Unique in every wonderful way- it was like having the Pied Piper and Mary Poppins all rolled into one,Austin was that soul that made everyone around him feel special. I cannot imagine the ache that fills his family losing one so prescious . It sounds cliche, but it's true that every time I saw Austin in the halls at Wedgwood or Southwest, he had a smile on his face. Many of us from SHS Class of '88 will remember him with a smile.

Gail and Keith, Austin was so special. Some of my earliest memories of Austin were as the unsolicited leader of a big wheel gang on Minot, then in high school, when his natural charm always made me weak in the knees (as I know every other girl could confirm), and even still when we were in our 30's, he made me feel like that. Any place Austin was, complete strangers would migrate to him, it was completely mesmerizing to watch.
I'll always remember and love him for his laughter, fun, happy eyes, infectious smile, love of all people, and reckless passion for life. Fort Worth is better for having known him.

Austin was one of my all-time favorite students when he attended Southwest. He was so much fun to have in class; he didn't work as hard as he might have but his mind was always going full speed.
