My sincere sympathy to your family in the loss of Mr. Connell.
I was a teacher at Roquemore Elementary from 1978-1988.
We immediately had something in common. I, too, was born in Colorado City.
I have two special memories of Mr. Connell.
He put a headlight on my car in the pouring rain after school one Friday. As a single woman, he was worried about my driving out of town that night.
Mr. Connell was the first person to meet me at the door and give me a hug when I returned to school after the death of my father.
I have taught at other schools through the years, but Roquemore was truly "home." Mr. Connell was one of the reason that it felt like home.
May God bless you.

Dear Susan & Family, I remember your dad fondly & really enjoyed getting to work closely with him for almost 8 years in the court. He most always had a smile on his face & a wise word of advice & we shared our life stories. Yes, he stands tall as a role model! Thank you for sharing him with all of us. God bless each of you. Sincerely, Julie New & Family
