Benny Jenkins Obituary

Benny E. Jenkins, 65, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment: 2 p.m. in Ryan Cemetery, Ryan, Okla.
Benny was born April 1, 1942, in Fort Worth, one of 11 children born to a rock mason. He was raised in Diamond Hill and attended Diamond Hill High School. He attended classes and became a master electrician. In 1977 he opened B.J. Electric, where he worked until his retirement in 1995.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Rachel Jenkins, and his wife, Evelyn C. Jenkins.
Survivors: Children: Benny Ray Jenkins and wife, Telina, Elizabeth Williamson, Brandi Ivey and husband, Harrell, and Steven Jenkins, all of Granbury; sisters, Minnie Pearl Campbell, Ada Faye Campbell and Jo Ann Traffanstedt; and grandchildren, Kristian Jenkins, Shaina Jenkins, Brooklyn Jenkins, Tyler Jenkins, Justice Jenkins, Tigerlilly Jenkins, Gavin Reininiger, Tracy Williamson, Cody Williamson, Lacey Williamson, Diamond Chazareta, Crystal Chazareta, Emerald Chazareta and Forrest Lee Ivey.

I didn't really know him that well. The only memory that i have of this man was when he gave me a leather jacket for Christmas two years ago. Nevertheless, he will be missed.

May God be with all his children at this time of sorrow. He was a wonderful and caring man who I am sure God just wanted him by his side to give him rest and comfort.
