Bill Douglas Dunaway, 57, passed away peacefully Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014, at his home in Burleson. Service: 3 p.m. Saturday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park of Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Laurel Land Memorial Chapel. Bill was born April 13, 1957, in Fort Worth to W.F. and Louise Dunaway. He attended and graduated from O.D. Wyatt High School. He married Pam Dunaway in August 1985 and was a longtime resident of Burleson where he owned and operated his own company for years. He attended and professed his faith at First Baptist Church of Burleson for many years. Bill was an avid hunter, fisherman and family man. He was a member of bass clubs over the years and was a current member of United Bass Association in Burleson. He was a great man, father, idol and friend to many. Bill was preceded in death by his father, W.F. Dunaway; and son, Billy Don Dunaway. Survivors: His loving wife, Pam Dunaway; mother, Louise Dunaway; sons, Brandon Dunaway and wife, Michelle, and Robert Richardson; granddaughters, Kellie Dunaway and Emma Pedigo; many loving cousins and relatives; and a host of other family and wonderful friends.

My prayers go out to the Dunaway family. What a reunion Bill is having in Heaven. To be able to hold Billy Don & his Dad again would be the greatest feeling. I wish I could of been there today to help you all out. I just got released from hospital myself. I love you all very much. Think of all the wonderful memories you have of Bill.
