Brandon Goodpaster Obituary
Celebration of life: 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 3, at Hillside Community Church in Keller.
Brandon was born Aug. 28, 1986, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Brent and Susan Goodpaster. Brandon was a loving son, grandson and cousin with a contagious smile and a sparkle in his eye. His gentle heart and loving spirit were without measure. He will be greatly missed until we are reunited with him in heaven.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnny and grandmother, Linda.
Survivors: Parents, Brent and Susan; great-grandmothers, Eva and Jean; grandparents, John, Dee and Phyllis; aunts and uncles, Matt and Brandy, Charles and Shannon, Brian and Amber, John M., Wesley and Erica; best friend, Robert; and numerous extended family and friends.

Brandon -
I remember the day your were born like it was yesterday. I held you in my arms and you looked into my eyes. From that moment, I knew I had been blessed with something special. I want you to know that there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think of you, and I have no words that can truly express how much you mean to me or how much I miss you being here to talk to and hold you. I can only say that I love you and wish so much that you were here.

You were honestly one of the greatest guys I have ever known. You were such a good friend with such a HUGE heart. We have had some really good memories and I am glad I have those to hold onto. I still can't believe you are gone. I can still hear your voice and the sound of your laughter in my head. Words can't express what I'm feeling...the world lost such a unique soul. I will always hold you in my heart and know that you are there watching over all of us. I will miss your smile and laugh. I will miss talking to you. I will miss the goofy times we all had. Brandon, I just heard the news and my heart got heavy!! I have known Brandon for many years. I was a customer at WAMU and he would always brighten your day with his smile. It was truley a pleasure to work with you and get to know you as a friend. You were a great person and made working together fun and enjoyable. My whole family loved you. We had some great & funny times, I remember trying to teach you how to dance to Mexican music... haha (not to bad) and I also remeber you shareing you lunch with me at work while I was pregnant (especially chicken & tuna). I will truely miss you and keep all the good memories we had with me. Thanks for being a good friend. You will be Missed.

Words can't explain the way I'm feeling right now. So many thoughts are running through my head. I'm speechless. You were always the person who I could talk to no matter what. The only nephew I will every have is gone, but not forgotten. Brandon's sweet and giving nature came so easy for him, but because that is who he was. My Nephew. I will miss you so. I am so thankful that God gave me the years with you that He gave. My world was better with you in it, and I want you to know that you have taken a piece of my heart with you that I will never get back until that day when I see you again.
