Carol Ann MacKechnie, 71, passed away Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Carol was born in Glasgow, Scotland to Margaret Mitchell and John Stevenson. She was raised in a large family. She came to the Fort Worth in the early 70's after becoming a nurse. She worked mainly in orthopedics, starting on the orthopedic floor at Harris Hospital, finally completing her career as the head nurse at the Fort Worth Bone and Joint clinic. She raised three children, whom she adored. Her true loves were found in her grandchildren and helping others. Carol was many things. Selfless. Tough. Hardworking. Resilient. Dependable. She embodied the spirit of giving. Carol was loved by all that met her. She is survived by her children Stuart, Sian (Cory), and Kristi (Seph); her beloved grandchildren Kody, Ryan, Andrew, Chelsey, and Wyatt; great- grandchildren Kalliope and Joey.

I was a good friend of Stuart´s in high school and Carol was always very nice to me. She always treated Stuart more like an adult than any of our friends. She will definitely be missed.

Kristy and family So sorry to hear about your mum's passing. She was such a lovely lady and she was way too young. I am glad she had so many people who love her and I know she will be missed by all her ever knew her. I send my deepest condolences. I was also not aware your father had passed prior. I understand your pain at this time.
