Fort Worth, Texas - Celia Juana Davis passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 29, 2026 at the age of 93. Celia chose to continue helping others after death by donating her body to the University of North Texas to aid in medical research and education.
Celia was a native of La Boca, Panama. She resided in Fort Worth, Texas since 1995. Celia worked as a civil servant for the U.S. military before retiring in 2005.
Celia was an active member of her church, Highland Church of Christ. She was a loving, caring, and generous soul to her family, friends, and neighbors.
Celia is survived by her twin daughter and son, Esperanza J Creeger and Carlos A Davis; grandson, Daniel B Davis; granddaughter, Marilyn A. Gonzalez; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Davis; great-grandsons, Cameron Davis and Elijah Davis; sister, Carlota C. Neil; cousin, Gloria Santos; nephew and wife, Cesar Ceville and Aira Ceville; grandnieces, Stephanie Davenport, Laura Childers, Jacqueline Salinas, Christina Fausnight, Niece, Juanita Neil; nephew and wife, Victor Neil and Cara Jacocks; grandnephews, Everett Neil, Liam Neil, and Alec Neil.
Celia was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda M. Asbell (Davis).
Services entrusted to Laurel Land Funeral Home, Fort Worth, Texas.
A memorial service to celebrate Celia's life will be held at 1 pm, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at HIGHLAND CHURCH OF CHRIST, 1201 Sycamore School Road, Fort Worth, TX 76134. Officiated by Robert Moss.
