Clarice Sweeney Obituary

Clarice Moody Sweeney passed away Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, in Stephenville. Service: 10 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Stephenville. Interment: She will be buried alongside her husband in Oak Dale Cemetery. Memorials: May be given to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 173, Stephenville, Texas 76401 or Oak Dale Cemetery Association, 681 CR 420, Stepehnville, Texas 76401. Clarice was born July 25, 1923, in Thurber. She married Clyde Sweeney April 13, 1944, in Stephenville. He preceded her in death on Sept. 28, 1982. She also was preceded in death by her brother, Everett, in 1930; her father in 1989; and her mother in 1991. Survivors: Her daughter and son-in-law, Clarene and Pat Eastes of Buffalo, Wyo., and Queen Valley, Ariz.; her son and daughter-in-law, Vernon and Cynthia Sweeney of Stephenville; her grandsons, Jud Eastes and his wife, Jennifer, of Broomfield, Colo., Michael Sweeney and his wife, Heather, of Dallas and David Sweeney and his girlfriend, Emily Sells, of Fort Worth; her great-grandchildren, Sadie, Luke and Jonathan Sweeney of Dallas; and her sister, Alta Lois Pipes of Stephenville.
